The Time Traveller's Walk

We start our 5 mile walk exploring the maritime history of London and travel from one time zone to another in the blink of an eye before passing under the river Thames to capture stunning images of the modern architecture in the financial heart of London. We'll then take a short tube ride to the East End of London to photograph the street art in Shoreditch and finished in the City of London. Sites include the Royal Observatory, the famous Tulip staircase, the Royal Navel College, the Cutty Sark, Canary Wharf and the street art of East London. We will learn about the history of the places we visit, find the best locations for photos and learn how to use our camera for creative effect. Your walk is lead by a professional photographer and each guest receives FREE walk notes and a guide to photographic technique. The Time Traveller's walk is available every MONDAY and THURSDAY.

Our walk includes Greenwich Market, the Royal Observatory, The Queen's House and the Tulip staircase, the Old Navel College, Cutty Sark, the Greenwich foot tunnel, Millwall Docks, the financial district of Canary Wharf and the street art of Shoreditch.

Easy Access

Your Time Traveller's Walk starts and ends at a convenient London underground station. We meet at the Cutty Sark for Greenwich station on the Docklands Light Railway. A short trip to Shoreditch on the DLR will be required so a valid ticket for Transport for London will be needed. Please note there are several flights of steps on the walk plus a short but steep walk to the Royal Observatory.
